Rebecca Morales – Visiting Artist Poster

Morales's work features super-intricate illustrations of hair that look like botanical specimens. I felt strongly that I needed to take a uniquely design perspective to her work - namely, typography.
So I hunched over a scanner and made high-res scans of my own hair. I then took these pieces and made a monogram for the artist. The suggestion of a microscope allowed me to insert more denotative information.
